Warranty

Indoor items carry a 5 year warranty on the structural integrity of the item. Outdoor items carry a 1 year warranty on the structural integrity. We aim to use the best timbers and craftsmanship to produce products that can last a lifetime, if properly cared for. The warranty does not include scratches, dents, or any other wear and tear. It also does not include damage caused by improper use or poor maintenance. Dragging furniture or standing on furniture is not recommended. Timber is prone to seasonal movement from changing temperature and humidity which may cause warping or splitting. We are not liable in this case or for any change in colour. Timber changes colour with age and often becomes richer and more beautiful. Be aware that exposure to direct sunlight will speed up any colour change. Any warranty claim should be accompanied by images. The claim will cover the cost of the repair but not any freight or transport costs.

Shipping

If you can't pick up your item from our Auckland workshop, we can arrange shipping and insurance on your behalf. We can ship to anywhere in New Zealand or internationally. Of course, the size of the item and the delivery address will affect the price. Additional charges may be incurred if the receiver is not home to collect the item or if access is difficult. If the item is instructed to be delivered to a 3rd party or to be left unattended, we do not accept any responsibility for any damage or loss. Any damage incurred in transit should be reported within 24 hours.

Description

Timber can vary in appearance, even amongst boards taken from the same tree. The colour, grain and general appearance of the timber in an item may therefore differ slightly from any references or any images of previously made items.  We always endeavour to choose the best lengths of timber and those most consistent in appearance, but, slight variations in size, colour and finish of the finished product are possible. 

Quotations

Quotations are valid for 30 days. Quotations are not an obligation to sell the goods. The quotation will include a non-refundable deposit that is required to be paid before the item is manufactured. Quotations do not include shipping unless stated.

Payment

Full payment is due prior to collection or delivery of the item. 

Lead Times

Lead times can vary but we aim to keep them under 4 weeks. You will be advised of the lead time when receiving a quotation. Any delays do not constitute a breach of contract.
